What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember something between pages or visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do much the same job.
What this site uses
This website is a static site and sets very little. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell data to advertisers.
Strictly necessary
Our host, Cloudflare, may set a cookie that keeps the site secure and available, for example to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic. The site cannot run reliably without this, so it is not something you opt into.
Analytics
Where analytics is active, it records which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from and which device they use, so we can see what is worth improving. This is about visitor numbers and behaviour in aggregate, not about identifying you personally.
The booking calendar
Our booking page embeds a calendar from WinThis. When that calendar loads, it may set its own cookies or storage in order to work. Those are set by WinThis rather than by us.
The WhatsApp button is an ordinary link. It sets nothing while you stay on this site. Clicking it hands you over to WhatsApp, where Meta's own policies apply.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block cookies generally or per site. Look under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this site working.
You can also turn on your browser's "Do Not Track" or equivalent privacy setting. Where a tool we use honours that signal, it will be respected.
Changes
If we add or remove a tool that sets cookies, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
